Ever since I started blogging, there’s one thing that I figured- Regardless of the gender you belong to, denim jackets are a must in your wardrobe. They are an essential piece of clothing, just as the denims you own. Since this realisation hit me, my life hasn’t been the same. 😛 That’s because, now I have way too many denim jackets in my wardrobe which I do not regret at all. The jacket you see below is yet another purchase and I am not guilty.
This outfit stands as a testament to the title I’ve given to this blog post. If it hadn’t been for this beautiful embroidered denim jacket, this outfit wouldn’t have made it to the blog. An All black look has it’s own charm, agreed but the denim jacket takes this outfit to another level of chic and classy. Doesn’t it? That’s the thing with denims, they are the real game-changers.
This embroidered denim jacket is from Koovs and is my current obsession. You can see why! I put a lot of thought into making the most of this jacket and I figured that for this piece of clothing to stand out I had to keep it very basic. That’s exactly what I did. I am wearing a woollen skirt, a black camisole and black boots. It wasn’t as cold when I shot for this look and now that January’s coming to an end, this look can easily be worn for a brunch, lunch or even an evening. I’d just change my boots for a pair of heels for an evening out with family/friends.
The denim jacket is my accessory here and that’s why I’ve just opted for a pair of silver hoops and a no-make up look with a subtle shade of pink on my lips. Thanks to my hair, they chose to behave on this day and I could just let them be.
So, in case you don’t have a denim jacket/shirt/shrug. Go buy one! And in case you do, it’s okay to give in to your guilty pleasures once in a while. 😛
