So far, so good!

I just realised that, this happens to be my very first post of 2022. So, Happy New Year, guys! Hope this year has been treating you well and only continues to get better for you all.

This year began on an unexpected note for me, when all of us at home were unfortunately embraced by the virus. Thankfully, it wasn’t as bad and we all recovered in due time.

However, January also brought along with it a new opporutnity that lead me to my current job. The past one month itself has been such a surprise for me. To be associated with an organisation that you literally see coming up before your eyes. Some days are spent sitting under the Chikoo tree, others under a pakka roof. While my heart lies in teaching, this new role has helped me discover a whole new side to my personality.

Ever since I’ve started going to work, my day has a rythm attached to it. I’ve found a purpose. I no longer cringe at the sound of my alarm. Today, while I was putting out the clothes to dry, I spotted two little birds having their own catch-up session, early in the morning. I see the colour of the sky change, as I draw my curtains. As I drive to work I listen to my playlist and that sets the tone for the day.

We have a lot of dogs in the campus, the one’s you see in the picture below are Tony and Tinkle. I didn’t spot them in the campus after this day, though. They did relish the sabudaana khichdi, I was hoping for them to come back.

After almost an year at home, this particular opportunity broke the monotony for me.
