Hello everyone!
I was unable to update my blog because I was travelling. I thought I’d shoot a few looks for my blog while I’d be on the mini-vacation but the almighty made me realize- not all your thoughts turn into reality. Nevertheless, I had the most incredible time in Srinagar. From witnessing my first snowfall to going completely unprepared on this two day long trip, I enjoyed a lot and learned even more.
Now, I am back and I couldn’t wait to shoot a look and update my blog. Ever since I started blogging, that is a little less than four months ago, this is the first time I have shot for a look and updated the blog on the very same day. Just saying.
Let’s talk about the look now. ;P As the title suggests I have repeated a particular outfit. Firstly, I absolutely love repeating outfits because every time I do so, I end up putting a new look together. Secondly, I am wearing the same dress I’d worn for the Valentine’s special post. I hadn’t updated the outfit on the blog but had posted pictures of the same on my instagram handle. (Follow me on instagram if you still havent, my username is- maanvikumar2.0)
It was then I’d resolved I am going to wear it again but with a slight twist. I am wearing the dress with a sheer top. I have accessorized it with a belt that is the same color as the dress. I also decided to coordinate my heels and my top. Just. Keeping it simple. As Victoria Beckham says, “Less is More.” Burgundy is one of my most favorite colors. I love how it enhances my skin tone (I have a warm skin tone). Before I even tried this outfit, I’d already thought of putting it together this way. I am fortunate that this particular time, my thoughts did turn into reality. 😉
I’d recommend everyone reading this blog, to repeat outfits and repeat them like a BOSS! That’s the best way to end up with varied ensembles and combinations when you have a limited wardrobe. Also, it’s quite practical and affordable.
Let’s be Practical, Sensible and Stylish! Sounds like a deadly combination to me.
