MOM DID THIS TO ME

After having spent several hours gazing at my cupboard and not being able to come up with an outfit, I was frustrated. That’s when mom came back from work and I cribbed about my day (after having asked about hers and once she was done with the meal). She immediately took it upon herself to style me for the shoot. Instantly, a frustrating day became a rather joyful one.

Well, needless to say she just didn’t do a wonderful job, she did a rather intelligent one too. In this particular blog post I’ve styled one piece of clothing in two different ways. The first one is a street style look and the other one is more of a party type.

The top I am wearing in both the looks is one of my favourites. Clearly. It’s a floral printed georgette top with tiny sequences all over it. I love it because it can be worn in several ways and secondly it can also go with almost any colour. PRO TIP- While on a shopping spree make sure when you buy clothes, they fulfil more than one criteria.

In the first look I am wearing a slip dress with this top and a pair of mustard colour sandals, which are giving a good contrast to the attire and also complimenting the weather. This one’s more of a casual look that can be worn for a Girls day out or when you’re hanging out with your set of friends.

The second look is more chic. I am wearing the top with a dress, yet again but I’ve also added elements to the attire. There’s a belt and also a nice pair of heels. Tied my hair in a low pony because that’s what complimented the entire look, according to me.

Kept my basic simple and also similar in both the looks because I shot them on the very same day.
