Meet my guests!

If you happen to think I am going to discuss my guests here, you're absolutely right. However, not the ones who visit in human form but the ones which invade my mind and sometimes, disrupt my mood- my thoughts.

Here's me thinking out loud and having a conversation with them.

OVERTHINKING- A daily visitor, and always uninvited.It's never alone and brings its bff, anxiety along. Together, they mess things up and leave behind chaos that now you have to clean up.

Each time 'overthinking' knocks at my door.

FEAR- Seldom knocks and immediately leaves. It tends to meddle with you state of mind and leaves one awry.

Always looking at 'fear' eye to eye!

GRATITUDE- An unexpected visitor that brings along a sense of contentment and you anticipate it's arrival, just that it finds you at the most random spots and moments in life.

Gratitude is like a warm hug or a cup of hot chocolate in the chilling winters!

JEALOUSY- Just as soon as it arrives, it leaves. It knows, it won't be allowed to stay for long.

No space for jealousy. AT ALL.

GUILT- Leaves as soon as you apologise and genuinely mean it. Quite infrequent because a clear consicous is its biggest nemesis.

Guilt is what I felt when I bought this top and thought I could carry anything.!

AWE- Comfortably stays in a corner of your home when you realise and accept that there are things that must be admired and people who need to be appreciated. Also, it keeps a check on your narcissim.

In 'awe' of nature always.

LOVE- It is family. It keeps you sane. It keeps you alive, besides oxygen, food and water of course. Quite often your will to live is attached to this emotion.

'Love' finds you when you find your true self.

CONFUSION- A plus one each time I take a look at the menu.

Always avoiding confusion by handing over the menu to someone else.

LONELINESS- A constant reminder of the truth of life. It accompanies you when you don't have anyone around. Often confused with solitude, something that brings a deep sense of joy and satisfaction.

'Loneliness' brings out the warrior in you.

PRIDE- It's always looming around, and looking for that one moment when it can barge in to ruin everything. Makes one delusional and drives people away.

Always showing it the way out.

HAPPINESS- One guest that you're always dying to meet. The only guest you'd probably want to live with, forever and treat it better than family or any other guests who've ever arrived.

REGRET- Walks in to give you a reality check. Allow it to leave right after that.

Never let 'regret' get the best of you.

SURPRISE- You never know in which form it might show up- a scream, a yell, a wide eyed expression. Often leaves you speechless for the right reasons. It is a rarity because to give a surpirse is a skill not many people have.

ANGER- Tries to stay for as long as it can so that it can muddle things further. Better to invite calmness and silence just when it approaches you.
