The best part about getting married is- the days that lead to the wedding.
Prashant and I met each other in an arranged marriage setup. We talked, we met and we decided on forever. This is the story that lead to the wedding. Our love story is in the making because it officialy began after we got married.
While the wedding comprised of mostly everything that i’d ever imagined. There will always be a void of not having all the fauji uncles and aunties around, who literally saw me growing up. My closest set of friends, who continue to make my life blissful and some very special people, who I didn’t imagine getting married without. The pandemic changed everything.
Nevertheless, the wedding happened and so did the union of two families, as is always the case in an Indian wedding particularly.
I had always thought I’d go overboard with my outfits, but I did not. I somehow wanted to keep it simple and classic.
Sharing with you all glimpses of the wedding functions- The Mehendi, Haldi and the Pheras.
The entire wedding was an intimate ceremony since we were about 50 people in total. We got ample time to catch up, chit chat and share a couple of laughs.

For the mehendi I wore a deep orange colour sharara. I wanted it to be flowy and comfortable! So, it was.

Haldi’ed!!!
For the wedding, I wore my mom’s wedding lehenga. It needs no fruther description. Kept it minimal with the gold jewellery!
