Hey there!
Today’s blog is about a fashion tip that Deepika Padukone swears by and Sonam Kapoor doesn’t. I find my style dwindling between the two and sometimes touching both extremes which is why the name of the blog is MissWhimsical and the tagline is- Be Fashionable. Be Unpredictable. Be You. Though most of the days I want to be Ms Padukone because of this man she’s blessed to have in her life, there are times when I want to be Ms Kapoor too! Anyway, that’s all for the uncertainty of my style.
Let’s get down to business.
This easy-breezy look is a result of my laziness. It was a usual summer day, way too hot to step out of the house. I decided to put on this dress that I got from the a tribal fair in Chandigarh. It’s a mustard colour, cotton dress with asymmetrical edges with frills at the bottom. The material of the dress is it’s biggest advantage as cotton is the most comfortable fabric to be worn in this heat.
I styled this dress with my Nakhrewaali earrings and I like how they add a splash of colour to the outfit. I am wearing this dress with my platform sandals from Koovs which are extremely comfortable and compliment the dress too. Yes, I did take up the challenge to leave my hair open and of course I was sweltered by the end of the shoot. I’d not to do this when I wear this dress in real life though.
In totality this look is simple, stylish and extremely comfortable and stands true to the fashion tip- Less Is More!
