The title of the blog post clearly suggests how I ended up with this look and I shall dive into the details a little later. Before that, there’s this realisation that struck me sometime ago that I must share with you guys.
There’s this thing that I figured about dressing up which is- it matters the least how fitted your clothes are, it matters the most how gracefully you can carry yourself. I don’t know if this realisation is a part of adulting but it’s a good one indeed. Works for me!
I am not saying we must always wear oversized, baggy clothes. I am just saying the outfit doesn’t necessarily have to accentuate your curves for you to be the showstopper or thunder stealer. It’s your aura, poise and grace that makes you stand out.
P.S Irrespective of the ‘free ki advice’ I just gave you, one should dress up as they feel like. It’s all about the choice.
I’ve always loved wearing clothes that were fit or maybe even slightly tight because I thought I looked better in them, which eventually caused me discomfort too for obvious reasons. It was then I realised that compromising on comfort is a really bad idea. Ever since, more than the fit of a particular clothing, my primary concern before making a purchase is, if that outfit makes me feel good about myself and that can only happen when you’re comfortable with what you’re wearing.

I chose this particular sweatshirt from my brother’s wardrobe, took his permission and then borrowed it for a while after which I stepped out of the house (as I’d like to believe :P) just slaying it. A bit badass and quite sexy!
Just paired this yellow sweatshirt with a pair of stockings and my knee-high boots.
The neckpiece and the belt just add a little drama to the outfit. That’s about it. This was one of the most comfortable outfits I’ve shot in for very noticeable reasons.
So, don’t be hesitant to pick clothes from your brother’s wardrobe and just go out there and slay! :*
