A life Half Full

I have spent hours in front of the screen thinking of ways to begin this blog. You know when you're feeling too much of everything and you can't put it into words. That is me, right now.

I can't decide if this particular piece of writing is an ode to myself or the life I've lived. It feels like I am giving myself a Lifetime Achievement Award. But, the question is why wait a lifetime to celebrate yourself? Why not, today and in this very moment. Also, DIY.

Each one of these pictures speak a lot to the adult me. I am not going to start with 'life lessons' here because every one of us gets to learn and teach quite a few lessons in our own ways. But, I shall cherish these memories in my own way as you read along.

This picture right here is probably my closest interaction with feeling content. I'd like to believe that when I was soaking the winter sun, perfectly dressed from head to toe- I knew this is all I wanted to feel. The little kid in this picture is unaware and that's the beauty of it. It's also probably one of those pictures I have no memory of, obviously so. But, I know this kid right here needed nothing else in life.

This version of me right here is puzzled. She has begun to find meaning in the most trivial matters. She's having fun but she's also feeling things more deeply. She's amused and innocent. Here's hoping the adult me held onto some traits of this tiny being.

This girl, in her teens, knew that she felt deeply and strongly about people and life in general. She just couldn't make peace with it. She was restrained and revelled in validation. Unaware of how gorgeous she looked, she strived to look better like that's the only thing that mattered. However, on this vacation in Goa, she was happy as she is now.

I guess, I ended up writing this blog while I was thinking of what to write. It's pretty vague in terms of what I want to say. To a point that it probably doesn't even make sense. But, we tend to make sense of life in moments because you got to spend time living in between those moments as well.
